The 3 types of Condensing Boiler

eco hometec supply three types of Natural Gas & LPG condensing boilers: H, HS and S. Models and outputs range from 15kW up to 80kW and include solar compatible combination boilers:

'H' Type - Suitable for Central Heating
'HS' Type - Suitable for Central Heating and Hot Water production
'S' Type - Combination boiler suitable for central heating and instantaneous hot water production. The S type boiler is Solar Compatible which enables it to accept solar pre-heated mains water.

H Type - Suitable for central heating

The eco hometec 'H' range is a high efficiency; compact, wall-mounted condensing boiler. The 'H' type has 1 flow and 1 return connection and offers a low temperature output, typically 55°C, for underfloor heating or a fixed/variable temperature output for connection to radiators.

The 'H' type condensing boiler can be used for central heating only or central heating and hot water (using a hot water cylinder). It will require a diverter valve, available from eco hometec, fitted externally and wired back to the boiler. The unit has eco hometec variable controlled output (VCO) which automatically regulates the output between 32% and 100%. (7kW ~ 24kW).

HS Type - Suitable for Central Heating and Hot Water production

The eco hometec 'HS' range, is a higher specification condensing boiler. The 'HS' type has 2 flow and 2 return connections. One pair of connections offers a low temperature output, typically 55°C, for underfloor heating or a fixed/variable temperature output for connection to radiators. The second pair of connections is used to connect to a hot water cylinder. Unlike the previous 'H' model the diverter valve and wiring inside the boiler at the factory. The unit has eco hometec variable controlled output (VCO) which automatically regulates the output between 32% and 100%. (7kW ~ 24kW)

S Type - Combination Boiler for central heating & instantaneous hot water production

The 'S' type boiler is Solar Compatible which enables it to accept solar pre-heated mains water. The eco hometec 'S' range is a high efficiency, compact, wall-mounted, solar compatible gas-fired combination (combi) condensing boiler.

The 'S' type has 2, flow and 2 return connections. One pair of connections offers a low temperature output, typically 55°C, for underfloor heating or a fixed/variable temperature output for connection to radiators. The second pair of connections is the mains water inlet and hot water outlet. The 'S' type range of eco hometec boilers are all solar compatible which enables them to accept solar pre-heated mains water. The 'S' type boiler has a built-in 3-litre hot water cylinder ensuring fast delivery times of hot water. The flow rate of the 30H is >9.0 l/min of 60°C and >12.5 l/min of 40°C.

This boiler has a built in 3-way diverter valve for connection to an external DHW cylinder
Suitable with a 12 kOhm NTC, a 10 kOhm NTC, or an on/off regulating thermostat
The flow rate of the 15C is: - max. > 5.5 l/min of 60°C - max. > 8.0 l/min of 40°C

15B - Single Heat Exchanger

High efficiency, condensing, gas boiler in compact dimensions with a built in 3-way diverter valve for connection of an external cylinder. The cylinder sensor can be a NTC sensor of 12 kOhm, or a NTC sensor of 10 kOhm, or an on/off thermostat. The 15B can produce a maximum > 8 l/min of 40°C of HWS hot water

The controller of the 40C boiler can operate an external 3-way diverter valve and DHW cylinder.
Suitable with a 12 kOhm, a 10 kOhm NTC sensor or an on/off thermostat
The external 3-way diverter valve is a Honeywell with a type VC6012 actuator
Produces > 17 l/min of 40°C of DHW hot water

The TWIN comprises of two gas/air type 40 boiler-regulated heating units.
Each unit produces heat independently
Two Master/Slave-boards regulate both heat-units
The Master-board calculates and divides the heat over both heating units
Should either one of the units fail to run, the other will continue to heat the TWIN boiler, albeit, on half power, subject to all the other components running properly
